I does sound like a lot of fun!! Wish we were closer. Diving isn't the only thing in KS that stinks. :)

I have to second that this is a fun time. I've been diving with Diveheart for the last year and it's a blast. It's a good thing to do for so many reasons:
- I get to dive with people who are as enthusiastic about diving as I am.
- I can help someone accomplish their goal and fulfill their dream.
- It's a great way to practice my dive skills- buddy awareness, bouyancy control, task loading.
- I suppose the handicapped divers get something out of this too, but I really enjoy it for my own selfish reasons.

I encourage everyone to give it a try- there are so many ways to get invovled, wet, dry (on land, not drysuit), locally, or on trips. I should add that many of the trips are done in warm dive destinations. Come out for the Luau, stay for the fun... Diveheart (http://www.diveheart.org)

That does look like a good time, but I guess I am a cheap skate. I will be saving my pennies for my gas money for the drive to and from Florida for my cave class. It really does look like a good cause though.
