Blacktips

Just got back from Cozumel on Sat. Did DDBob or anyone else who has been there recently get to dive with the Blacktip reef sharks at Palancar Gardens? We did it twice with 10 sharks both times. Never having been anywhere with anything but nurse sharks I was pretty excited. They were all small between 3'-5' and would come within 3'-4' of us. Our DM said they moved in after H. Emily.

I did not get to do that, unfortunetly. I wish I would have though. I also heard that some hammerheads had moved in on Barracuda reef, but the current is very very strong out there, and not many boats want to go out there because of the current.
