FINALLY finished Assistant Instructor last night. It has only taken like 6 months. Listen up kids...don't do it the same way I did. Due to a great many "life happenings" in both our family and our Instructors, we had to stretch this way out. It was really hard to stay on task and keep focused. My advice, when you get ready to do it, clean off your calendar and just put in the few days and get it done. I guess I learned many lessons here.

Congrats Juls, A job well done, so what if it took almost 6 months. So whats next? Me I still need my rescue dives (book work is done as is first responder)

You're way ahead of me. I did the bookwork a year ago, but have been too busy diving to make my schedule mesh with my instructor's to do the tedious part yet. His schedule is well-booked as well, and to make it worse I have a buddy who is to go through it with me and his schedule is quite difficult as well. We've vowed to make it work this winter, since we only dive a couple weekends per month in the winter.
