Howdy,
I just found this community on a search and thought I'd check it out. I'm a freediver from Missouri.(It's like being a downhill skier in the middle east.)
I consider myself a beginner and hope to learn and advance more in the future.
My breath hold time is a modest 2min 30sec. I'm always looking for dive buddies in the Missouri area.
I hope to contribute to this forum and get to know you guys.

Welcome! What part of MO are you from? Do you dive locally? Table Rock?

We are just getting started here, in fact today is the day I decided things work working well enough to stop calling it a "Beta" site. I'm hoping by the time the local waters warm up we'll have enough to plan some group dives.

I'm from a little town called California. It's about 25mi west of Jefferson City.
I've never dove or even been to Table Rock but I'm ganna try to get there this year. If only to watch the nationals this year. I've heard it's great down there but it's (I'm guessing) a 3 1/2 hr drive for me and it's hard to break away that long sometimes.
I'm planning on tyring Quail run this year and a few other closer spots. I've been diving zero viz blue holes and lakes in the area.......it's desperation to dive.
I hope this place gets hopping too.

Yep, I'm in the St. Louis area. I get down to Quail Run at least once a month during the summer. Maybe I'll see you there this year.

Maybe I'll see you guys later this year too... I plan to do Quail Run/Table Rock/Bull Shoals/Oronogo this year, with maybe one trip to the Keys or Maya.

Bindlestitch - I got kin there in California... and I went to JC High. I live in Columbia now.

That would be great if we ran into each other at Quail run. Just look for the guy with the three foot fins and no tank. :)
