Cozumel

Well, I am suppose to be leaving for Coz on Saturday, but it looks like Hurricane Rita may be having other plans for us. Cozumel isnt in the path, but my connecting flight is suppose to be out of Houston, which looks like it is in the projected path. I just spoke with the guy that does the travel for the shop, and he said we might get rerouted through Newark. Now, I am no geography major, but that seems just a tad out of the way from St. Louis to Cozumel. I guess if thats what I have to do to go, then that is what I have to do.

okay, to hoepfully avoid the hurricane, the trip has been pushed back 2 days, so now it will be from Monday to Monday, instead of Saturday through Saturday. Hopefully there is still an airport there to fly into down in Houston. More importantly, hopefully every evacuates that needs to, and the loss of life is as minimal as possible.

I can appreciate the frustration. We have to plan a trip so far out weather is a worry.
So glad they were able to change dates.

That is airline logic...We came back to Dallas from St.Lucia by way of Philadelpia. And had to overnight there as well.

well, I just received word the trip has been pushed back yet again 1 more day. So now, it looks like we leave on Tuesday, hopefully.
