Please remove me as a member from ScubaBoard. The blatant advertising all over this board has left me thoroughly disgusted. This board no longer seems like a place to discuss diving related topics, but feels more like a continuous advertisement for Scuba Toys.
Good Bye!

I just sent this to Tech Admin and quit "the other board"! I am sick of ScubaToy Larry and his disciples as well as a few of the others. I quit!
Lucky you, MidwestDive! I like you!!!!!!!

It dosn't seem so long ago tha SB almost went under and a lot of us (me included) were selling stuff on eBay to keep it afloat. Amazing and depressing what it has become.
Geez, talking like Yoda I am.

I agree!
I just got to the point where every time I read stuff there I felt like I had to be on the defensive. Its just not worth it. I don't like the direction they have taken. I don't enjoy my time there. I read way too much there that just ticks me off and I feel like everything I write is a rebuttal. I don't feel like I can change anything or that I can make a contribution. It is time for me to move on. It isn't the same board I joined.

You know what's sad?
A while ago I quit too - they did NOT remove my log in from the site. And look at me, sucker that I am, I've logged back on since then despite all my rantings and ravings.
Be strong, Julie. Don't go back. You can do it.
