That's the noise created when a member of my son-in-laws Ranger unit got stopped for a DWI a couple of days ago and the entire unit lost their 4 day leave over Labor Day. Therefore we have lost the Cooper River dive that Sunday. Driving drunk sucks and while I understand the theory punishing 400+ for the actions of one sucks to my civilian mind. Policy used to be just to cycle the offender out to the regular army which seems a good deterrent since most Rangers love the Bat. Can you tell I'm just a bit p*ssed? Arrrggghhh!:mad:

The did the same thing to my squadron 10 years ago...called everyone in at 5 am on our day off to do PT. That guy will get pounded by about 400 rangers (and a few of their parents:-) for his mistake....maybe that should be the sentence for every one instead of a couple of weeks in the can and a fine.
