After the first of the year, Rita and I plan to start the process of international adoption. Right now China is just leading over Russia for an adoption.

If anyone here has any experience with this please let me know, either publicly or privately. I'd love to get any input I can since everything I've read makes it sound like a pretty daunting process.

THere is a couple that I spoke to recently that are adopting two kids from Russia. They have at least two trips over there already. I think that they get to bring the kids home with their next trip.

Good luck!

I hope everything goes well for you. A couple my wife and I know adopted from China, but aparently it was "easier" for them as the father has some ancestors from China. I'm just glad to hear that there will be one less child out there without a family, good for you. Best of luck, and I will try to contact that couple and see if there are any pointers to give you.
