I've been visiting this website for a few months now, but don't think I've introduced myself. I live in Northern Illinois and dive with Loves Park Scuba. My dive buddy in warm waters is my lovely wife Lori. Around here, I buddy with anyone who can stand the cold waters of the Great Lakes! I have been diving for about 4 years or so and am closing in on my 100th dive.

I recently bought a drysuit and had the pleasure of diving with Steve White on two occasions. My favorite sites in this area are the shipwrecks in Munising Bay (Lake Superior) and the Wisconsin (Lake Michigan).

I am currently completing my Rescue Diver Class, and if I have the time and money (who am I kidding???), may decide to go for Dive Master.

My mottos are:

Live life to the fullest
I may be getting older, but that doesn't mean I have to grow up.

Anyway-Hello all!

Welcome aboard the board. I know there are a few members here who frequent the great ponds up there often.

Welcome to the board. There are a lot of other places to dive other than the GL's. Maybe a couple hour drive but they are usually worth it.

Hi Jeff I just started checking out this Board and am enjoying alot. I just got PADI Certified Open Water Last July and compleated my Advanced Open Water this past weekend.

I do most of my diving at Haigh Quarry in Kankakee, Il., but have also dove in Cozumel, Fort Lauderdale and a couple shore dives in Lake Michigan. I beleave I am at logged dive # 38 so should hit 50 by seasons end.

Well hope you enjoy the board,

DSDO,
Tim
