Ok, the contest for August will be "Who has traveled the farthest for a dive trip?" Prize will once again be an MWD t-shirt. Anyone is allowed to participate (except me).

Here is how the contest works:

Nobody will be able to see responses to this thread except for the moderators until the end of the month.

Please post your trips here and include:

Starting Location, Ending Location, Approximate Distance

(http://www.bestflights.com.au/airportdist/calc.php will give distances between any two airports.)

Farthest dive trip to date, Omaha, NE to St. Lucia (or Hell :) ). 2818 miles each way.

How about.....Amarillo Texas to Bali Indonesia.....13,000 plus miles and damn well worth it! Doing it again next June but it will be a bit further, from Bali we will fly to Wakatobi.
