Anyone been to Beaver lake lately? Just curious how the vis is down there now.

Went two weekends ago, it was fair, 10' to 15' but the lake is really low. Reynolds foundation was in 6' of water. The thermocline was very milky, quite amazing to see actually and explain what it was to my new OW students, not that they didn't notice when I took them below it :)

I was there about a month ago. Visability about 10 -15 feet as well. Patches of thermocline about 37 feet. But gosh, diving Beaver is soooooo much better than where I got certified :p

Surface 51 degrees, 43 degrees @ 100'. Vis 10' to 25'. Around 20' off the stairsteps below 35'. The lake level is up making for an easy entry off the stairsteps.
Book a boat trip with C & J scuba. We did a 2 tank dive with them Sunday, well worth the $.

Thinking of going to Beaver in the next couple of weeks. Wondering what the vis and temp is doing with all the rain.
