Our dive club is scheduled to dive Sanilac Shores - Lake Huron on Labor Day weekend. 2 dives each day on Sat and Sun. We have spots available if anyone is interested. If we fill the boat (12 divers) the cost will be $100 for the 4 dives. Here is the website of the boat we are using:

www.rectecdivecharters.com (http://www.rectecdivecharters.com)

Reviews from "the other board" they are highly recommended. If interested, please contact me!

What is current concensus for accomidations? hotel/camping?

How many divers currently on board? What is average experience range? Would be looking to do some of the deeper farther out stuff? i.e. New York, Wexford, Checotha, North Star, Col Williams...? (Any tec divers/deco dives within rec depths?)

Do you have the AM charters both days...?

I would love to, but already plan on diving Oronogo on that weekend. Keep me posted on other trips though.

For those going to Sanilac, the accommodations clost to Pt. Sanilac are the mom & pop type hotels. I stayed in Pt. Huron and drove. It's about a 1/2 hour drive stright north. If you are looking for one of the national chains, this is not a bad option. It also provides more resturant options. I wish I could go but I already have 2 wreck dives near that date. Have fun, I'm jealous.

Every man for himself! I am sure everyone will compare notes on this as it gets a little closer. Its easier to hang out and eat dinner together, etc if everyone is close together. If I had to guess, they may opt for hotel.

So far there are 5, were 8, but 3 bailed. One of the bailers was a club member who was in a serious auto accident. He is in a rehab hospital right now. The other two, my hubby and I have a Navy graduation to attend (woo-hoo)! We have our club meeting on Thursday, and we may get a couple more people.

We are open to whatever. This will be a new charter and lake for all the one's signed up so far.

All have a lot of dives and a good amount of Lake Michigan experience. Everyone has experience with dives to 100'+ in cold water. All are frequent divers. A couple/few are tech divers and will be diving doubles.

Yes, AM both days!

Maybe! Possibly! Pretty Good Chance! I'll let ya know!

Anyone interested in the Len-Der (out of Milwaukee) on Sunday Aug 14th? We are planning to dive the Milwaukee Car Ferry and the Prins Wilhelm. Or maybe 2 on the Milwaukee or a long one for those with doubles.

We got seats available.

Its usually $60 a person when we fill the boat.

Wish I could, but the finances are stretched a mite thin. I'm still trying to make my wife understand why I needed that "$160 flashlight". Obviously, she dosn't dive.
