OK I am starting to think that I have BO or something. I am once again looking for a dive buddy Saturday July 9th or Sunday July 10th, I would prefer Cerulean but Mermet or Pennyroyal would be fine also. Just need to blow some bubbles. :0374: I have an extra Regulator and size Large BCD that I could loan to a diver that is still aquiring thier own equipment if that entices anyone. Let me know early. :0438:

Dude, you have to provide gear to get dive buddies?! Throw in lunch and I'm yours.
Cerulean does sound good for this weekend. I'll dive with you, and may bring along some additional buddies as well. I'll plan to be there early Saturday AM and dive both days. If you don't want to dive Sat AND Sun, that's cool, I can pick up buddies on-site.

p.s. Only joking about lunch, and I have my own gear; in fact have provided my extras as loaners to get buddies in the past :) E-mail me if you want more coordination than just meeting me there Saturday. I drive a dark green Scion with license plates 1DIVR.

Bill,
I am curious...80+ degrees...are you still going to dive your dry suit?

I'll be on a certification trip to Cerulean this weekend. We either have 5 or 6 students and there will be 2 instructors. Also, I know of another instructor who will be there with his daughter and at least 3 other certified divers. I talked with Dave from Cerulean last Saturday and he said the temp was 83 and vis was 20'.

Nope. 3mm will do. Perhaps even just a shorty. I'll feel so naked.

Might qualify you for the weirdest thing seen underwater contest later this year! And I COULD do it in 83 F water, that's bathwater temp!
No worries, was only a figure of speech. I also feel naked without a knife on me, so I usually carry 2 or 3 when diving.

Leaving town for Cadiz Super 8 tomorrow night for a fun-diving weekend at Cerulean.
See ya there, Trever and Bill.
Any others like to join us? I know warm water with great viz and no rock overhead isn't the most appealing conditions for everyone, but we'll have fun. Come on along.

Thanks for the invite, Trever. I had a great time diving with you and the others this weekend. Excellent conditions!! 83 F water, 25-30 ft. viz, and warm sunny weather.
And good to meet you, scubado.

Yeah I am still sweating,:2104: the water was so warm, almost like bath water.:2101: . I had to stop by a Caddy dealership on the way home just to see what one looked like. For those of you wondering Cerulean Springs quarry has a Caddy in it someplace, but I am not sure that anyone has ever found it. We did happen to navigate to several other structures though :2125: .

No. Sorry, Trever, it's true. We saw it on our first dive Sunday. It's in the back corner, and is leaned up against the wall so you can do a swim-through underneath it.
Got some good photos from this weekend (but not of the Caddy). E-mail me your mailing address and I'll send you a couple copies. deepblue@the-skull.com
