I'm heading out to Beaver Lake in a few minutes, and just wanted to tell all of you Dads out there Happy Fathers Day, and to rub in your noses that while you are opening your tie, I will be diving :p

I'll be in a pool with an OW student and two DM candidates. Have fun at the lake. Last week at the north dam site the water was beautiful. Vis was close to 20 ft. before everyone started diving.

While You are diving I will spending the day with my two boys opening my fathers gift. (It's not a tie however, it's a new BC)

Vis was excellent compared to last time we were down. Only had two open water students, but it was great to see their excitement. Water was very warm. I haven't looked at my computer yet to see what it was, but I didn't wear a wet suit at all. It was a bit chilly under 20', but still tolerable. No deep dives this weekend, but it was a weekend for the students, not for me.

I don't think I would reccommend that! Those perch are likely to bite on anything :)
