I-44 traffic

If anyone is traveling on Interstate 44 just north east of Rolla, be aware there is lane closure there, and it can take about 2 hours to get through there. If you have to travel in that direction, you might want to use an alternate route.

I read an article in the paper and it will be that way unil Aug 15 or so

Any recommendations on a route to getting around it without going too far out of the way? It's already going to take 9 1/2 hours to get to table rock, I don't want to add 2 additional hours. Looking at the road map, I'm thinking I'm gonna get hosed.

This weekend, I got off at highway 50, took that to 28, and then to 63 south into Rolla. It was slightly out of the way, but still better time then sitting in traffic for 2 hours.

it might have tacked on an extra 30 to 45 minutes or so, but thats better than sitting there for 2 1/2 hours like I did last weekend.

That is way better. I can live with that. I really do appreciate the help. Now if i could just find someone to dive with when I'm not taking my AOW dives.
