Now that I'm legal (completed my checkout dives this morning) I feel free to come out of the shadows and hopefully meet up with some divers here and get wet. I will also be in Branson doing my AOW dives, but I would like to do some other diving during the week I'll be there (July 16-23). Any takers?

I've learned so much from everyone on here. Hopefully someday I'll have the knowledge to pass on. Thanks all.

The Dive Shop of St. Louis' Fun-diving club will be diving Table Rock the weekend of July 23-24. Possibly even a night dive on Friday July 22. Will post more info when the date gets closer.

I did my OW dives in Lake Mendota. The water for my final 2 dives was 64 F. Much nicer than the 41 F. when I took my first dives a couple of weeks ago. The vis was a little worse this time, less than 10' until I hit 25' then it opened up to about 15'. My wife was there taking pics so it was a big deal for her to see me get certified. SInce I can't skydive anymore ( I shattered my leg Jan. '04), this is a great alternative. I wish I had done it sooner.
