Please do not waste your money or time on the movie The Life Aquatic. I thought Bill Murray, Angelica Huston, Owen Wilson - had to be pretty good. Well it ain't! I had seen commericals for it and it looked funny - there has been nothing on TV so I'll rent it. Murray wasn't funny at all. I haven't seen Open Water but it had to be better!

I actually liked the Life Aquatic. The humor is very dry though so it's not for everyone. Now where can I go to see a crayon seahorse?

I concur.....I finally told Lyle that if he wanted me to get in the water, he needed to shut it off!! We fast forwarded through much of it hoping it would get better.....it didn't.

Well I hate to ruin the end of the movie, so if you haven't seen it are willing to watch two people float in the middle of the ocean for like 2 hours......stop reading now!!!




yes they get eaten. I watched a documentary on the movie and it is based on two people that either got eaten or faked their death. No one knows for sure.

Actually I saw a Discovery channel show on the "real" story behind those two. There was a lot more to that story... Most likely real outcome was a murder/suicide.

I thought "Life Aquatic" was hilarious. As Atlaua already said, though, it was a dry humor--just like mine.

And I just saw the DVD for Open Water this weekend--BORING!! And the bonus deleted scenes proved that it actually could have been a worse movie.

Think I have a good sense of humor and can find it about anywhere - but it sure eluded in that movie
