Hello! Finally got around to posting

I wanted to introduce myself! My husband and I are both divers, it's something we both really enjoy doing together. Expensive hobby though! :D Hubby is a Divemaster and I completed my Rescue Diver certification last fall. We hope to get in some local diving in NE, IA, and possibly SD this summer. Upcoming dive trips planned to Tortola (Long Bay Beach Resort) in September and Curacao (Sunset Waters) in January. See you underwater!

I assume the red you are referring to is from the picture in my profile. Actually, it's not red. My hose protectors are pink, and my safety sausage is orange. Used to be a Husker fanatic, however scuba has taken over as my #1 hobby! I am known as husker_diver over on the forum at www.scubadiving.com (http://www.scubadiving.com/), only because Scubagal was already taken.

I was just assuming (yeah I know better :) ) that you might wear red once in awhile. I completely understand diving taking over. I have given up on a lot of other hobbies too.

Looking forward to your posts and advice on traveling.

My one and only Nebraska story-
When I returned to work after a trip to Omaha, I wore my newly purchased Husker shirt. My co-worker, a former football palyer at K-State gave me a hard time about it. I just couldn't get him to understand that they didn't have anything purple at The Big Red store.

That is great - major rivals (or used to be when K-State had a football team). We have a split family here, son went to K-State and son-in-law is from Neb. Last year I had a bunch of red flowers (I like red; plus the dive flag colors) - this year I got purple and white ones.
