Wow...what a place. Sure, you cant do any 100 foot wall dives. Most of the dive is spent at 25 foot, but what a fun place that was this weekend.
We had a pretty good turn out. It was nice to meet Trevor. Hopefully you can get that tank fixed, and get back in the water soon.
I was able to log 7 dives this weekend, 5 on Saturday and 2 this morning before heading back. The weather was a very warm 80 -85 degrees, with the water temp being mostly around 63 degrees. It was a tad cool, but I refused to wear a hood or gloves, so I dove all weekend in just my 3 mil. Wasnt too bad. Also, I would like to mention the vis was around 25+ at the start of the day. Really didnt drop too bad as the day went on either.
Underwater, they had the usual quarry rock crusher, trucks, bouyancy pyramids, large boats, etc. Back in the far corner, there is a lot more stuff I didnt get to see yet, including a very tough navigation course I am told. I would like to go back and give that a try. Getting in and out of the water is very easy. There is a beach enterance and exit point, and also a dock to do the giant stride. Or if you choose, you could just stride off the wall into the swarm of catfish below.
I have some pictures from this weekend I will to get posted on here sometime this week. Needless to say, I had a great time and plan on going back very soon.
