I thought that this board has a "no advertising" policy. I'd be interested to hear what other members think about this of this kind of post.

I guess I need to learn the rules before I go spreading, what I believe to be, good news for local divers. I have no intention of offending anyone and will learn to control my excitement about my dive shops. Thanks for putting me in my place. Now, how would you suggest I inform the MidwestDive.com members of shop news?? I am new at this, please show me the way. For the record, I feel we are having the most fun and offering the best value for local customers in our area. I also feel that it is in the best interest of local divers to know what is going on. I understand the many bad feeling customers have about Dive Shops. I was once a LDS customer. Now I help run 2 shops that put every penny of profit back into the shops and the community that supports it. I would love to hear all thoughts about this. Take care and may every dive be safe and fun. Ken Elliott

IMHO, the post should have gone in the "Grand Opening and Sales" forum, no big deal though.

Hard to get me stirred up unless you want to push the Mares Limited Line, or something like that, LOL. steve

I have an idea where this should go, but I am not sure how to put it there. I am going to close this thread down until James gets back, just to make sure it doesnt get out of hand.

If you are in the area, check out the brand new Y-kiki dovers shop. It is in the same plaza, just at the other end. Bigger store, same great staff and service.
