Hi every one! I've only been diving for a little less that a year now and learning more every day. PADI OW, SSI Dry suit and by the end of the month will be SSI Stress and rescue. Living in north west Iowa I have limited places to dive that are close by but that doesn't stop me. I usualy dive either Okaboji or Lake Francis Case at Pixtown South Dakota. Hoping over time I might get the pleasure of meetting and diving with some of you on this board.

Hi and Weclome to MidW Dive. I understand the not many places to dive problem - the best KS has to offer is cattle watering tanks. :D

welcome Ed, I live in Clear Lake Iowa (north central). i have a few dive sites around here . how far are you from me? i also travel 3hrs 15 min occasionally to dive wazee at black river falls WI when i need deeper water for training and practice. the water is usually fairly clear there too. I try to dive west okoboji a couple times a year. I have been diving okoboji for over ten years. ( i am 34 years old). if you need a buddy or a new dive site , let me know.
