Some of you may be wondering how I chose the list of states that are included in the links/sites sections.

I used the list of states from the Open Directory Project (http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Regions/Midwest/) for the Midwest Region.(This is the directory that is used for Google and several other large sites).

This list includes:

Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Michigan
Minnesota
Missouri
Ohio
Wisconsin
Still there are other states that I think we might want to include, so I'm going to put a poll up and see what everybody else thinks. These are considered by ODP to be "Great Plains" or "Southern" states.

The poll is multiple choice.

I voted Arkansas, because I thought Beaver Lake was pretty cool. Wouldnt mind going back there some time.

I voted for all of them as I have seen posts from Neb. and S. Dakota and we have some pretty active folks from Ok. and Ks. Ark. of course as Beaver and Bull Shoals are two of our best "local sites". Didn't I see some discussion of an area in Ky some time back?

I think a few People on here dive Cerulean Springs in Kentucky, I think Kentucky would be a great addition.

Ok, per the polls Arkansas and Kentucy are in. Please take a moment to add your favorite sites to the database. And remember, GPS coordinates are needed if you want the site to appear on the map!

Speaking of which, anybody got coordinates for Haigh or Cerulean?

I'm leaving this poll open to see if OK gains more steam.
