Since I'm less than two weeks from my next vacation and getting ansy, I thought I'd ask what everyone's next big dive travel adventure is?
For me it's a week in Akumal...

Next major planned trip is 1-8 Oct. in Cozumel. We will likely make a trip to see our kids and granddaughter in Savannah in sometime July and that means a Meg tooth dive. Son-in-law is looking for something besides the Cooper R. Has anyone on this board dove for Megs anywhere else in that area? I haven't got much response from the Deep Dixie folks on Scubaboard.

We are headed to St Luica July 22 thru the 31. I hope to go to DEMA in Oct and DiveBiz in Jan.
My dream trip is to go to Belize/Ambergis Cay (again) but this time in Jan when Jerry Jeff Walker has his big weekend show and to dive of course. Can only listen to great music in the evening - gotta do something during the day.

Hard times are here; no big dive vacation this year. One day to Lake Michigan and maybe a class in N FL will be it for me.
A NC long weekend not out of the question.

Next multi-day trip is July 26-31 to dive wrecks in Lakes Superior, Huron, and Michigan. For details or to join us see the post titled "Fun-dive club sponsored by The Dive Shop of St. Louis" in the "Get togethers" Forum.
I've seen enough pretty fishies for a while and plan to spend more of my time and travel on wrecks and caves this year. Wreck dives planned for Great Lakes, North Carolina, and Boston. Cave dives planned for Rouidoux, Cannonball, and N Florida.

Did you tell me you was going to dive on the Doria, or you was still working on that trip?

I have that planned for NEXT year. The Boston wreck dives this year are with the operator I plan to dive on the Doria with. No responsible operation takes you out there without having made some closer, easier dives with you first. So we will be doing some deep dark cold wrecks closer to Boston harbor in the North Atlantic. There are plenty of them around there!

Makes sense. For some reason I thought you had said this year. That would definitly be a dive to write home about. Wow.

Destin June 3rd to June 12th, yeah I know it's not the most exoctic place for diving, but it's a great family vacation that we enjoy every year.

Who are you diving with down there? I dove with Scuba Tech and Sand Dollar charter when I was down there. Both of them run a very good charter. They are both out of Fort Walton.

I'm starting a new job on Monday, so it's cold murky water for me till I can accumulate some vacation days.
On the other hand, I can finally spend the bucks on all that expensive diving crap I've been putting off buying! You can never have enough.
