Hi-
I am a fairly new diver with hardly no experience therefore I am a sucky diver. Hopefully this summer I will work on that and make myself better with the help of deepdiverbob.(my man) I am excited to get warm weather to dive because the cold stuff is not for me, but here soon I will be going at it again. Yeah!

I'm sure Bob will give you plenty of opportunities to gain experience :D.
Welcome to the board.

We're all sucky when we start out. It just takes practice and the willingness to learn.

Hi, it is great to hear from another lady who is getting into diving thanks to the man in her life.
I have yet to get certified, but it looks like the class I am signed up for is on for April 23-24. I will be taking it with my daughter (12) who is like a fish in the water. I log into the board quite a bit, but don't have much to write since I know very little about this new sport. Any helpful advice from you ladies would be greatly appreciated!!

Good luck on your class Denise!! I got into diving because I am married to a diver too. Now I it is my passion and I drag him along.
Not sure about any specific advise - if you have any questions please ask.

I mainly wanted to dive because I was sick of Bob being gone all the time. I wanted himt ot have fun but I wanted to too. Thankfully we are afiliated with an awsome dive shop with awsome people who have the patience to work with me and get me to want to continue to do this and to have fun.

Welcome!
Every dive for me has been a learning experience, and every dive has been more fun than the previous! Also met some really good buddies who have given me so much good advice and help along the way. What a sport! Starting diving has been the best thing I ever did!
My wife and kids don't dive yet but I am working on it!
Happy Diving!
Let's Dive!!!!!!
