I am interested in trying to get involved in some midwest diving. Currently the only diving I've done is when I've gone to an Island which is not often enough for me. Any suggestions would be grately appreciated.

Yep, I've had trouble finding dive sites in NE. You might have to travel south or east to find stuff. Anyone know of Nebraska dive sites?

Check out the latest issue of Dive Training magazine. It has a feature article in there about Nebraska diving. I forgot which sites it listed, and I dont have it in front of me at the moment, otherwise I would mention them.

ldkearney has four sites posted for Iowa in the dive sites...some of them might be within weekend traveiling distance also.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I am seriously looking at the cavern diving in Missouri/Arkansas. FYI The only thing I have heard about in Nebraska is the Sand pits some where around Kearny NE.

Best way is to find a local dive club so you not only get ideas you find like minded friends.
