I just noticed that my LDS is going to be offering DAN classes this summer. I plan on taking every single one of them that I can.

James, didnt you go down to Texas and do some of these? Which ones did you do?

Well to clarify, I did instructor training. When you say DAN classes are you talking about instructor or student?

I can teach O2 for both aquatic and scuba and hazardous marine life injuries. I have 2 IT classes before I can do DEMP. That's my real goal.

On the last schedule MWS only had the basic O2 class. When new schedules come out I hope to sign up for some. I helped teach an EFR and O2 class last month and now feel ready to take it on myself.

It looks to me like this is student training. Here is what I am talking about:

Ah, ok.

Here I my understanding. MWS has instructors for O2 for Scuba Diving Injuries. Recently Mike went to DAN and got his IT for all courses, so he can teach or train instructors for all.

I've talked to him about adding the needed IT so I can teach DEMP, and I think he plans on doing that for me and Ken/Val, but as far as I know the only optoin is O2 unless you are taking a course directly from Mike.
