Just returned from a long weekend on Bull Shoals with the Y-Kiki Divers on our Barnacle Bill's Houseboat Weekend.
Fantastic weather and great water conditions for us all weekend! Water temp was 70 F to 40 ft. deep, and 60 F below that to at least 130 ft. (was a recreational group). Vis was 5-15 to 20 ft., a little better down to the thermocline, and 20-25 ft. below 40 ft.
Saw lots of Blue Catfish, a number of crawfish, the usual suspects, and some small skinny shiny blue fish that liked to swim up to our lights on the night dives.
We made many night dives, a fair number of deep dives, and conducted class dives for AOW, Peak Performance Buoyancy, S&R, Deep, and Night.
