I have 2 good buddies and a rented pontoon boat for next weekend on Table Rock Lake, with plans to dive the old submerged Kimberling City Bridge on Saturday, April 10.
We have room for 1 or at most 2 more divers to join us. We will be diving within recreational NDL limits. Depth will be app. 110 ft. minimum and 130 ft. maximum, and current water temp is app. 46 F.
If you would like to dive with us, and I know you either in person or by reputation, send me a PM.
Sunday we plan to dive from shore at the Dewey Short Dam, and anyone is welcome to join us there for a dive or two.

DUDE! I would love to go, but I can't make it next weekend. I have been wanting to dive the Kimberling City Bridge for a long time....any plans to go back later this year?

The next dive is on April 25th. It seems like a year has passed since my last dive in February! The month of February was a great diving month both locally and in S. Florida. I could use some bottom time therapy about right now!

Phil and I hope to see you all down there, but we both are tied up in classes with SLIM. We'll have to see how our classes go, but we will probably be kind of busy. Dinner and ice cream ought to still work :p

We had two nice dives on the bridge Saturday, followed by a dive in the Enchanted Forest. Vis on the bridge was about 10 ft. Vis in the Forest was 25 ft or better.
There is a different placque on the bridge than what was there before, and we believe the bell has been swapped out as well.
Surface temp is 52 F, 48 F between 20 & 40 ft., and 42 F in the deep water.

will be in the kimberling city area memorial day week end, have room on the boat,we are camping at waters edge camp site (kimberling city marina) will dive the bridge if conditions are right. am going to go out on a limb and tell you that the Bell cant be swapped out, I built that into it 10 years ago because sooner or later some DA would try.

That will be a bad weekend to dive the bridge, there will be so many boats and remember to stay in the distance of your flag. Yes the MSWP are this year going to be just as tight to thoes that get out of the distance of the flag.
Lot of boat traffic so be very carfull.

Since you are right there, if you get out early morning on the bridge, you might have the best results. But, yeah, I bet the boat traffic will be a big factor in dive planning.
What day(s) are you planning to dive the bridge?

last post did not go up, maybe I had to much wine, anyway.. I was about to say that boat traffic is a huge factor for that area, an early morning dive would be the only way and if the viss is of we will just go hunt anchors. there is also a new law adopted last year that says you cant obstruct or impede the flow of traffic on the lake. so if water patrol finds you out there and the traffic is high they will rid shot gun, help you recover your divers, give you your violation and send you on your way.... if you are lucky, on weekends like that there people skills go down

I suspect you sell the anchors. Just out of curiosity, how much do they sell for? I am sure a lot of it depends on the type/weight of the anchor.
