If anyone is familair with this site, and knows the area pretty well, could you please tip me off to a cheap hotel as close to the dive site as possible? I tried Travelrs Inn, but they dont have any room left.

A couple of us are staying @ Pointe West Resort, it's south of the dam on Hwy 187. It's more of a motel than a resort. We were quoted $48 + tax for a double. 800-352-6616

Another place close is Beaver Dam Cottages, they have a couple trailers & a house. I stayed there last year a couple times, I thought it was kind of pricy, around $65 for a small one bedroom trailer. 479-253-6196

I won't get down there until late Fri night, my son & his buddy will be there Fri afternoon sometime.

When we did our ow there we stayed at the Chalet Inn - it is small and possibly filled too. You might check Best Western website. We will have to figure out a way of getting together on Sat.

all the above mentioned are sold out as well. The only thing available is a Jacuzzi suite for 85 bucks a night. That might actually be worth it, but I am waiting to hear back from the guy that I will be sharing the room with. What a waste, a jacuzzi suite, and I am stuck in a room with another guy.

Maybe thats not such a good idea after all.

No worries...I have a room now. Looks like I will be staying at the Pine Top Lodge. They guy said it is about 6 miles from Beaver Lake.

Bob I think you can handle a jacuzzi anytime--- lol and maybe Chris could give you a good leg message if you get cramped up lol
