I have for sale a set of MP 120's. Banded with 2" bands and a Halcyon manifold. I am needing to sell because of some medical problems, although I hate to. These have been great tanks. Original manufacture date of '06, rated to 3500 with the 10% overfill. Tanks have been stored with air in them for the last couple of months. I would like to get $375 for these or best offer.
I also have an O2 clean AL 80 that I have been using as a stage bottle. Luxfer tank, last hydro was in '07. Would like to get $75 or best offer.
I will try to get pics up, or ask any questions you wish and I will answer. The Skull and DDB have seen these tanks when we dove together last summer at Oronogo. Not sure if they will remember them. Lol. Thanks for looking.
Also, for a friend........

Hey Kyle,
Sorry to hear you are selling your gear. What year was your AL80 made? What kind of valve, painted or no?
Thanks
Ben

Your 120's what is the rated pressure? if it is 3500 then they are HP and what are the thread size for the valves? If they are smaller then a standarad tank then again they are HP. All the new stuff that are rated for 3440 are a MP and not a HP unike what your 120's sound like.
I would also like to konw the year of manufacture for your 80's?

beperkins, thanks. I appreciate it. The AL80 has a yoke valve, and is just plain AL. No paint.
Slim, the tanks are rated for 3180 before the 10% over rating. The AL80 was manufactured in 9 of 89. I cannot remember the thread size for the valves, but I bought the Halcyon manifold from Greg on this forum. No problems when I put them on some AL tanks I had banded, or on the steels. Sorry, my mind is just not up to speed right now as far as the thread size.

Yes, they are negative tanks, but I really like them. When all the trips to the Dr and (possibly) specialists are over I would like to replace them with the same tanks. I am hoping that I can find them a good home. Really hate to part with them, but that is how it goes......

Dang, a steal at those prices. Only wish I was in the market for another set or had some extra cash laying around. Good luck, especially with the medical issues.

Hey Kyle,
I am planning on being at Oronogo tomorrow, I would like to buy your AL80 and my buddy would like to look at your doubles. You said you were going to try to make it down, you wouldn't want to bring your tanks with you would you? Even if my buddy doesn't want your doubles, maybe someone else would.
I am planning on being down there by about 10am and staying until ???
Let me know

beperkins, yes I will be more than happy to haul them down. Just so you know, the AL80 currently is about half full of 50%, so we can drain it and you can get it filled with whatever mix you prefer. I plan to be down there by 11 at the latest. Thanks, and I will see you there.

At that price, I'm definitely interested. I'm not familiar with MP tanks though, who is the manufacturer? What diameter? Are they close to Worthington X7-120's or closer to the LP 104's?
I'm in St Louis. Will be in Poplar Bluff this weekend.

Kyle,
Sorry we did not make it on Friday, we got about half way there and my dive buddies van started overheating for no reason. We had to limp back home, taking breaks for the van to cool down, and by the time we got home, it was too late to head back that way.
Again I am sorry for the no show, hope to see you some time this summer.

beperkins, not a problem. Things like that happen, and always at the worst of times. The 80 is still here if you still want it. We can work something out, I am sure.
