Hello,
My name is Carrie and I am a diver in Minnesota. I am diving more frequently throughout the year then I have in the past couple of years. I am always looking for fun events to attend. Please contact me if you have anything going on. I work for the aquarium underneath the Mall of America. We do diving there too, which is what brought me to working there. If anyone is interested in diving, or snorkeling look me up at UWA.

Hi UWA,
Welcome to the board. I have a group of St. Louis area divers that is planning to dive the Bonne Terre Mine on Sunday, Feb. 28. You are more than welcome to join us if you wish. PM me for details.
Many of us here on the board will be doing the Jan. 1 Polar Bear dive at Mermet Springs. No prior planning or commitment is required, so just show up and join us that day.
See ya around,

Hi, Carrie,
If you're into cold, I usually put together one or two trips up to Lake Michigan each year. Welcome to the board.

If you dive Lake Okoboji down in Ia I will let you know when I make it up there. My mother inlaw lives on the lake. The only way I can keep my sanity is to go out diving while I am up there...
Welcome to the board....

Hello Everyone,
It is so nice to have all these responses to read. Looks like there is a good dedicated group of people that love to dive in the midwest. I am not much of a cold water diver right now, in fact I have never been in a dry suit. Could someone clue me in as to what Polar Bear Dive is? I am heading out on my honeymoon to Belize for some good diving on Dec. 31st and will be gone until the 9th, so I won't be able to come and watch, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Has anyone been diving in Belize, if you have any good stories I would love to hear them. We are staying on Caye Caulker.
Someone asked for a link to UWA here it is: www.sharky.tv (http://www.sharky.tv) check out diving under Extreme Adventures.
Ps. I went out to the crosby mine pits early October last year and a had a lot of fun, has anyone else been out there?
Is it true that ice divers surf the ice as they get reeled back to the hold they dove in from? You guys are crazy!
