I hope not many are planning a trip to TBL this weekend. I did a dive and wasted my time. I went to Breazzy Pt to go and relax and plan on getting an hour or 2 on my GEM and look for some stuff. Well, it was just like last week when I did a class off of Duck Island. Crystal clear above 20 foot and the vis was awsome. Once you get down to 20 foot it turns to CRAP and cant see CRAP even with my awsome LED light I have. Yesi was in full SM gear with a GEM on my back.
Like I mentioned I had planned to get an hour or more but only did a short dive of about 30 minutes and it took longer to boat to and from the loaction. On my way home I stopped bye Dewy Short and the water looked to be about the same so I hope now that the gates have been closed for just about a week now and the lake can settle down and get all the stuf to settle on the bottom. I did notice that the temps are not all that bad from surface down to 60 foot I have 60* so not all that bad.
We do have rain sechuled to come in Sunday night and it is prjected anywhere from 2-4 inches could coem down in this area. I know that if we get much they may open up Beaver gates.
Sorry for the bad news but that is life. I plan to get back out Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Guess you all will have to wait until then for more info.
