Hey gang, just thought I'd share some pics of my OW certification dive at Captain John's Oct 17th. We had 3 OW students including myself. Visibility was about 10-12 ft, water temp was 60-66 degrees, ambient temp was 45-50 degrees. Everyone was in 7mm wetsuits except our instructor, Randy Molinari who was diving a dry suit.
The group I was with did 6 dives on Sat. and 2 more fun dives on Sun. I had to sit out the fun dives due to some sinus issues. Our groups dive on Sat. was only around off to the left side of the "cardiac hill" entrance extending out from the airplane at 40 ft and the car pile at 60 ft. Got to see some really neat stuff and even saw a few bluegills.
We all had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to going back.
Enjoy!
