Y-Kiki Divers' Local Diving Adventures program is sponsoring a fun dive weekend at Beaver Lake the Oct 17-18 weekend.

It will be the first time diving Beaver for nearly all of us. Anyone is welcome to join us, and anyone who has dived Beaver before is certainly welcome to join us and show us the best sites!

It will be great to dive somewhere I don't recognize every rock.

Have a great weekend - I will be checking out the rocks on Grand Cayman. I do like the diving there. Eureka Springs is a great place for an evening after diving. Lots of nice resturants and nothing to fancy.

None of the local divers have elected to join us this weekend, but most of the hotels are booked up, so there must be some diving going on. Scuba Sally and I are still going! Will report back on the conditions and what kind of dives we have.

Hoping for some cool dives after driving past Table Rock Lake for an additional 2 hour drive!

Talked to someone at the marina at TRL and they said the water was way up. Might make a call to Beaver before the drive.

LOL! We're diving from shore. High water might save us a few steps to the entry point.

But thanks for thinking of us.

Waiting to hear what you guys think of diving Beaver. I enjoy diving there and going on in to Eureka Springs. Wish I had wrote down the resturants and hotels we used. Guess that would be a good idea to add to my log book.

Colbalt Coast is a great resort - a little out of the way but nice. Divetech is an great shop too. Really geared to Tech divers (not me). One of the Instr did a 300 ft dive on Mon afternoon after our 2 morning dives.

When TRL gets up like that the vis can be so off that diving is subjectively not worth the drive. YMMV, have fun, it is a pretty area.

We're staying at Roadrunner Inn, and have a connection at C & J Sports, so will get fills there this trip. Also had a recommendation to Fly Rod Inn Motel.

Since it's just me and Scuba Sally this trip vis is not an issue. We can stay together when it's just the two of us. Swimming through the trees is more challenging in poor vis, anyway!
