The deep dives ruled this weekend! Vis was 40+ feet and crystal clear. And the quarry was as warm as it gets. Bottom temp was even up, at 44 F. And since the shallow water was 80F with 10 ft. vis, we had an easy begin and end to our deep dives.
The shallow water was hazy but with decent vis, the mid depths of 30-60 ft. had a lot of big particulate -- looked like it was snowing. And then the deep water was clear and bright. Didn't need a light at 110 ft. We used one, but didn't really need it; and I kept turning mine off by the time we were up to 80 ft. because it was bright daylight.
