The deep dives ruled this weekend! Vis was 40+ feet and crystal clear. And the quarry was as warm as it gets. Bottom temp was even up, at 44 F. And since the shallow water was 80F with 10 ft. vis, we had an easy begin and end to our deep dives.

The shallow water was hazy but with decent vis, the mid depths of 30-60 ft. had a lot of big particulate -- looked like it was snowing. And then the deep water was clear and bright. Didn't need a light at 110 ft. We used one, but didn't really need it; and I kept turning mine off by the time we were up to 80 ft. because it was bright daylight.

The conditions were fantastic this weekend. You could clearly see the entire 85' platform from 50' and the cables that secure the platform! It was the best I've seen at MS this year! The Rock Coffer and sunken boat were easy to locate. I didn't spot a single catfish, however the spoonbill were very active. On a shallower dive at the ambulance the spoonbill were schooling. Brought some hotdogs for the fishies....I've always enjoyed feeding them at the end of the dive. Made three dives and enjoyed everyone of them! Dive # 3 was a wall dive, which was relaxing as the sun was beaming off the rock wall.

Yeah, I still can't believe the clarity!
