For those of you who read Sport Diver Magazine. There is a brief article about Gilboa quarry. It's on page 12 of the September edition. It's refreshing to read about a dive site that is relatively close to home. Rather than some far off place we can only dream about or dive once a year at best. There is a picture of the 65-foot Grumman Gulf Stream Twin Turbo Prop Airplane. I could only hope to snap a pic that clear of the 727 at Mermet springs.

I just read that last night. I have seen conditions like that at the 727 a few times, usually in the winter.

I never really thought of Ohio as midwest. When I saw an article about a quarry in the midwest, I thought for sure it was going to be Haigh or Mermet.

I was thinking the same thing.
