Does anyone own a Henderson suit? I have heard 2 very good compliments about the Henderson suit, and nothing bad yet. I just wanted to get a few more opinions before I make another wet suit investment.

The only bad thing you'll hear about Henderson suits is they're expensive. Aren't you due for a drysuit investment, though?

I have a couple Henderson hoods that I love. IF I were going to buy another wetsuit, it would most likely be a Henderson, probably one of the Hyperstretch models.

yes, I am doing the dry suit thing VERY soon. But I would like to add a 5 mil to my collection. Something for cool water. All I have now is my 3 mil, and a semi wet suit. (Notice I changed the name from semi dry?) something in the mid 60's range is too cool for the 3, but still to warm for the semi, or the dry.

I'm already dry suit certified. I am going to DUI Dog days in April to find out what I want to order. I plan on making at LEAST one dive with my fellow Mod Becky while I am down there. You are more than welcome to join us if you like.

You're missing the beauty of the dry suit. You can wear it without the heavy undergarments. All I own is a 3mm wetsuit for warm water and the dry suit.

I wear cycling tights under the drysuit for temps up to 78 F, lightweight undergarments for temps up to 72, and polartec tights beneath my lightweight undergarments for all temps below 50 F.

Another big differentiator is whether you wear a hood, and how thick of a hood. That also applies to your other suits--3 mm plus a hood should take you all the way down to the temps you can handle with your semi and no hood.

Just the results of mine own experience. Your mileage may vary.

I love diving wet. I am getting the dry suit for the winter months, tech diving and Mermet. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.

That is EXACTLY what I said before I got a couple dozen dives done in my dry suit. Your stroke may change. We'll see.

I will definitly give a report when I get back. If I plan everything right, I might be making dive number 200 in my log book down there.Thats a lot of dives since I did dive number 5 in my log book just about 1 year ago.

You've been alot more active than me. I just logged my 15th under the ice and was happy to average more than one dive a month (for my first year anyways). With any luck I'll get wet more often this year!
