I am going to be at the lake from the 13th to the 21st of June on vacation. I would like to get in some dives as I have never dived in Tablerock lake. I do not have a dive buddy going with me either. I plan on shore diving around the State Park Marina as I was told that is the place to be. If you will be down there on these dates, then contact me by email at cstanford@iaff2665.org or PM me here. If I weren't needed in Miami during that time period I would do my best to join you. Seriously, I am envious of you for making your first Table Rock dives and wish I could do them with you, as the lake has provided me with many dozens of my favorite dives.

Whether or not you find an insta-buddy here, do contact the State Park Marina (where you will be getting fills anyway) and inquire about getting booked on their dive excursion boat. They will take you to some of the best sites on the lake and can also get you set up with a buddy. Enjoy.

By the time I would get down there, you'll have worked out most everything you need. I may try to pop down for the 19/20th. I'll check and let you know. If my daughter can make it, I'll likely be there.

I second the recommendation to make use of the State Park Marina shop. Their boats will get you to some of the basic sites and are well run, but extremely low keyed and focused on matching your capability set. Most of the sites have different levels of diving available. Be sure to check in with them to see if they have any night dives planned. They are fun.

I will be at Oronogo on the 20th and 21st, but a buddy and I have been thinking about a trip down through the week. If we can get the boat done, that is. I will be talking with him later today and will let you know. Hope that we can meet up.....
