Y-Kiki Divers is having another Fun Diving weekend; this weekend it will be at Pennyroyal.

Feel free to join us, I'll be there first thing Saturday morning and will have the Y-Kiki banner up at our shelter.

Bah, if it were the following weekend I could have made it out there. Have fun at Pennyroyal. I had a great time the last time I was out there. Chris (I think that's his name) and his dad were kind enough to put up a huge sheet on one wall and play pirates of the caribbean for us after a day of diving.

Hey, was that 2 years ago? And he made popcorn, too? I may have been there that weekend. Or does he do that for everyone?

Anyway, the following weekend we'll be fun diving at Mermet if you'd like to join us there--all 3 days!

I was there with the dive club from the great purple octopus. Just checked my log book and it was 2 years ago so it may have been the same trip you're talking about.

I'll try to make it to mermet the following week though. I'll have to check with my vertically challenged significant other. We just found out that the pregnancy didn't take, so she's cleared to dive but I don't know if she'll want to or not.

Can't say enough about how nice the people that run pennyroyal are. If you haven't been out there, try to make this trip. I just wish it were a little closer so I could get out there more often.

Yes, indeed, that was when I was there. I rode down in the purple octo van, and also did a dive with DDBob because that was MWScuba's Fun Dive weekend as well. Hope to see you and the wife next weekend at Mermet--we'll have the Y Banner up at our pavilion.

In spite of a forecast for 90% chance of thunderstorms, the weekend turned out very nice.

And conditions were 15-25 ft. vis at all depths! It was best down below 70 ft. of course. Water temp was 62 F all the way down to 10 ft., 54 F at 20 ft., and 42 F from 40 ft. on down.

Ah, just as warm as I remembered it. I'm glad the rain held off for you guys.
