I will be at Pearl Lake Sunday, May 3rd, around 9am practicing my technical skills, running through some rescue drills, and just having a fun day of diving. Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun.

Had a great day of diving!!! Vis was like I had never seen it before; vis was between 35 and 40ft!! Water temp was at 50 and the outside temp was 70. The sun was shining and at 9AM we were the only ones at the lake until about 12. We did two dives, praticed valve shutdowns, and deployed the liftbag. We will see what happens with the vis a month from now when I run a class there.

Yeah the viz was really good.

My wife and I got there around 1ish on Sunday to try out our new drysuits. This was the earliest in the season we've started and were amazed at the viz. We figured the viz was always that good early in the season, but sounds like we caught it on an exceptional good day.
