Hi everyone or should I say Howdy (barf). Naw just a transplanted southern person living up in the great North (i know we lost you won I'm over it). Anyway my dive buddy m&p+4 said this was the place to relate to some serious, fun loving (and Safe) divers. So looking for so good places to go and get wet. regards Texiconsin

Welcome to the board. I guess somebody has to live up there. Better you all than me, it's cold enough here. (Don't laugh Northerners).

Hi David
Welcome to the Board. I have some very good friends from TX - I understand the personality. :D They are in Bali right now thinking about the 8 inches of snow that Amarillo got the other day - yeah right.

Hey, I'm sort of a transplanted Texan too. Only I ventured up here about 30 years ago. My family are in Texas (Austin-Sequin-Leander areas). Welcome up north. It isn't so bad. We have the Great Lakes and they are awesome diving.

Oh yeah....and what really helps warm you up is to click your heels together 3 times and say "Drysuit, drysuit, drysuit"......

Welcome abaord.

My dad is from Texas. A little town called Jacksboro Texas. I havent been there in a long time, so it might not be little anymore.

As far as the cold thing goes, just eat a lot, put on about another 150 pounds, and you wont be near as cold. It worked for me.:D

I was going to post what I heard when we lived in Bottineau, ND but this plain speaking Kansasan decided she couldn't spell the words either. :)
