Had a great time this weekend completing an AOW with 1 student and Drysuit Specialty with him and another 3.
Also enjoyed the handful of Fun Divers who joined us. Missed you jefm, sorry you couldn't make it.

The good news was that the shallow water has warmed to 47 F all the way down to 20 ft. The bad news was that visibility was less than 2 ft. all the way down to 40 ft. depth. Visibility started below 40 ft., became good (15-20 ft. but hazy) below 60 ft. and was quite good (15-25 ft. and clear) below 75 ft.

So deep dives ruled and shallow dives were hand-holders.

Were you there for the thunder? We had to get out of the water in a hurry :}
Sorry I did not stop by to say hi, I hooked up with some AOW students/instructor while stepping out of the car and wound up getting a specialty done a week early. I'll try to be more sociable next time!
I'll be up there again this weekend if anyone wants to buddy up. I finally got in a few dives on the weekend that were just for fun and they were the best.

Glad you made it and had some good dives. Please do be more sociable; we could have introduced you to several frequent divers who regularly are looking for buddies.

Won't be there this weekend, but will be at Table Rock Lake, Dewey Short Dam, for DUI DOG Days April 25-26. Come on down and spend the weekend trying out DUI drysuits and hanging with good divers for a very small fee, lunch included.
