Hello!

We've had some cancellations on our trip aboard the RLT Diver (formerly the Royale Diver) to Isle Royale this July, and have spots available! If you've never been to Isle Royale to dive, the diving is simply fantastic! Last year's trip was our first, and we had great time. We dove a lot of the wrecks and spend some time stretching our legs on the island itself.

All food, nonalcoholic beverages, and air fills are included. NITROX is available for $75 for those certified, and Argon is also available for dry suit divers at an additional cost. We will leave Grand Portage in the morning on Weds July 22, and arrive back on Sunday July 26th in the early afternoon. Sleeping is bunks on the boat, but we will usually tie up to a dock with a campground nearby, so you could sleep in a Park Service screened-in shelter if you wanted to get off the boat. You will NOT go hungry on this trip! The food is plentiful and hearty meals are served to help you maintain energy for diving! We enjoyed fresh Lake Trout, Pork Chops, Steaks, and Spaghetti for meals last year! :D

If you are driving up the night before departure, there is a nice casino/resort close to the marina, a campground at the marina, and sleeping on the boat is also a possibility. (The drive from Duluth to Grand portage is a very scenic one!)

Our boat is the RLT Diver and is a 36' Pacemaker cruiser with twin engines, generator, on board compressor and NITROX membrane, space for you and your dive gear, and a nice ride. Isle Royale diving isn't for inexperienced divers; some of the wrecks are deep (over 80') and the water will be cold (in the 40's) and we require that divers have a minimum of Advanced Open Water certification with cold water and deep experience with recently serviced cold-water gear.

Cost of the trip is $875 plus optional add-ons for NITROX and/or Argon. A deposit of $450 is required, with the balance due by June 15th.

If you are interested, or have any questions please call Yan at Duluth, Minnesota's Innerspace Scuba Center at (218) 726-1010

I would LOVE to do this trip, but all my money right now is going into my big trip next year. I will definitely keep you in mind for future trips though.

Trip sounds awesome... Wish I could, but my vacation is that same week and everything is already planned... Not so sure my wife would like me telling her that the boys and her can stay home while I go on a week long scuba trip....

Definately keep us informed of future trips...

How about trying to wow them with travel to an exotic foriegn country? Thunder Bay, Ont. Canada is just a bit away and there's a fort and hotel with a 3-story water slide for the kids while you dive with us! :D

I don't think his 2m.o. twins will be up for the waterslide just yet ;) Give them another couple months.
