You should be able to now, if not let me know. The links, sites and galleries all require that you have at least 1 post first. Mainly to prevent people from spamming them.

P.S. Welcome to the board...

Welcome to the neighborhood. I used to drive past your neck of the woods frequently whe I was stationed in WY.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the sites you dive....they may make a good weekend trip from central WI.

hi becky, i just switched to digital. i started out with a ikelite auto 35 and then a sea and sea motomarine II EX and now a Nikon Coolpix 995 in an Ikelite housing with an Ikelite 100A strobe and a INON Uwl 100 wide angle lens. the 995 is a great camera. It actually has more features than my Olympus E-10 digital SLR.

I agree it is a great camera - I have a 995 also. I have an Aquatica housing and the Ikelite DS125 strobe. I don't have as much experience with it as I would like. 1st time I used it - the housing flooded - Aquatica took care of the problem. Dive buddy saved the camera. I have to recommend a moisture alarm that is what saved my camera.

Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures.

It is 56 miles from my house to the beach - I only got there one weekend last summer but plan on being there more often this summer.

Welcome to the board. My wife also has the 995 with the Ikelite housing and strobe. Evidently pretty popular around here at least.

It is 56 miles from my drive way. I only made it there one weekend last year due to no-buddy syndrome. My wife and 12 year old daughter are getting certified this spring so I should make it down there more often this summer.

thats the good thing about a ikelite housing, its clear so if it leaks you can see it right away and get it out of the water!!

hi Lyle, what city do you live in??

I think I can answer this one.... I'm Denise, Lyle's wife. We live in Stanley, about 30 minutes from the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area. We camped out at Wazee last year for a weekend, very nice but a little more rustic than I was prepared for. We're planning to get down there this summer again since our 12 year old and I will be getting certified (God willing we pass) this spring.
