Where did you get certified?

As for me I did my confined water with a local YMCA shop and then went down to Cozumel for my open water dives.

Didn't dive in the local muck until I did my AOW at Bull Shoals.

Where did you learn to dive?

Class/confined with lds (gone now). OW in Cancun. My wife had to do her OW in Swepco. She's never forgiven me.lol

I did it with the scuba program at Murray State University even though I was not a student. Open water dives at Cerulean.

I did my OW class with a diveshop that no longer is around, and deservingly so. My OW dives however, was down at Vortex Springs.

Ken the owner of Quail run Quarry certified me. Did the confined dives in a pool in rolla, and the open water dives at Quail run. Did that last year fullfilling a child hood dream.

I did my open water dives at quail run and I will be doing my aow this weekend at tablerock also my peak performance buoncy and eanx----- so we can safely say that all my training and nearly all my dives ever done have been in the midwest---

Resort course in the Bahamas. Course?--just before we jumped off the back of the boat in full gear I was told not to hold my breath; did mask clear and equalize once at the surface; shown how to inflate/deflate the BC; then made 2 dives. Loved it!

Returned home, home was very temporarily in Cape Girardeau MO, where I immediately signed up for OW with the local (now defunct) dive shop. Did pool at SEMO, next weekend did OW at Lake Norfork in AR. Did AOW the following month at Norfork with same folks.

Unfortunately, that shop was heavily into promoting dive travel (which I had no time for at the time) and was very discouraging about the prospects of MW diving, which I had to discover was very good for myself several years later!

Table Rock at the State Park Marina for me and my girls. We spent a week there, having done the book work at home prior to the trip. And, I have to say I have been very satisfied with everything we have done with them.
