I will be at Mermet this Saturday only, if anyone else is going to be around. Me and my rent-a-buddy for the day will be there around opening time. Hope to see some of you fine folks there.

Bob,

Not sure if you saw our posts about diving last weekend, but keep your eyes on Gator. He will run off with any piece of gear he can get ahold of.

Wish I could meet you down there but not this weekend...

Lets see how he does on the 100 foot platform, if he grabs my stuff. :)

He did end up in the water at one point. It was one of the funniest things I have seen. I came hauling but down onto the dock and tried to stop, bu the tried just a little to late. He had this Holy Crap look on his face and then "Splash". He darn near landed on top of Ken.

Sweet dog, just very playful...

No dog sighting this weekend.

Water temp was 50 degrees, down to about 90 foot, then I was getting 48...big difference, huh? Vis was at best 10-15 foot in the shallows, and barely past the front of the mask below 90. I was able to do 2 dives today, while enjoying the Ozark Dive Company fish fry during the surface interval. Probably the biggest news of the day was the fact I didnt have anything leak on me, and also pee-valve worked to perfection...twice, actually.

Man the vis really changed from last weekend....

I am going to start the install on my p-valve tomorrow, damn I am nervous about punching a hole in my suit.... Hopefully it all goes well...

Yup one has to wonder but then also being so happy that he used it. Just remember how easy it was to put that hole in it and instal.

Send it to me and I will put a hole in it with no problem, just send the valve and have it all marked. It is very easy to put holes in new good suits. Well, for me it is. LOL

This summer I was still getting used to my P-Valve. I was down at the nose of the plane with my wife and Ed Gabe. I grabbed hold of a rock started to let 'er rip. They both noticed me, and thought something was wrong. I tried to give them the "leave me the heck alone" sign, but they didn't get it. I was afraid they would start rescuing me. They finally got it when I pointed to my eyes, then to my PValve.

You spend 30 years learning not to pee yourself, and suddenly it's okay again...takes a little getting used to.

Aint that the truth. Then you will have a hard time trusting it after you have had a few blow off,s too.

What did you need to grab a rock for? You grab a rock when you are on the throne doing the same thing? You can just be there in a normal kicking or just neutral and let it rip.
