I found a pin size hole in the foot of my dry suit. Looks like I will be using aquaseal for the first time tonight.

No problem, mon. Use plenty; chances are, it happened in an area that gets a fair amount of abrasion, so cover an area 2-3 times the size of the needed repair.

its right on the toe, looks like on the glued seem. I plan to use a whole lot of the stuff, because I havent heard of a shortage on it, and I know where I can get more.

Do you ever (or normally) apply any kind of boot (patch, sorry for the dinasour terminology, but it was for the foot area ;-) with the aqual seal?

Seems like it might be a good idea in a high wear area. Just curious...

I did not. I am, however, sitting here watching the aqua seal dry as we speak.

Not myself, but when DUI repaired my big crotch leak (from crotch strap rubbing) they put a cloverleaf crushed neoprene patch. Now I use a soft 1" crotch strap instead of the 2" stiff one I used to have.

Plain old aquaseal has fixed all my other leaks.

Nope . . . glove still leaks, but I cannot find where to be able to fix it. I filled it with water and hung it up for 2 days and there are no leaks when it is not under pressure. Frustrating. Anyway, I'll be using wrist seals in Florida, and then switching to the compressed neo gloves for the winter season, so the problem is out of mind 'til next summer.

And I thought the quote you were going to punish me for was "the 2" stiff one I used to have"! LOL!

DDB I got a few ideas to tell you Saturday about that hole you got and if you have problems with so much aquaseal that might help out.

Skull, since you will be doing the fufu stuff with Tim (tell him Slim sayshi) and not with us up here. I wont coment baout your hole and your soft stuff.

If JC does good, we might get a bit further in then last time.

Fleep, see you there, sounds like you will get 1 maybe 2 dives in who knows.

LOL guess we will find out how well it was replaced after tomorrow.
