We are supposed to have our first killing frost tonight. I am in no hurry for the "S" word. We are about 50 miles south of the Kansas City area.

it looks and feels like it wants to snow, but we arent going to get anything. Suppose to be back up to 70 by Thursday.

it's supposed to warm up a fuzz by Thursday here too - I think they're calling for 62.

Where we did our uw pumpkin carving on Sunday, they'd had 10 inches of rain followed by several inches of snow a few days before. The road to the lake was very rough and had standing water on it, and the owner of the house we used as our staging area said that parts of that road were still underwater the day before. Thanks to 65 degree temps on Saturday, there was no snow in evidence when we were there on Sunday. This was just outside Kearney, Nebraska, by the way.
