Looks like 5 of us from Kansas are headed to Mermet this coming weekend. Definitely 3 divers and maybe 4. We are heading out Fri morning and hope to be there midafternoon. We are staying at the Super 8 in Metropolis - 2 of the group is from the area. Probably won't dive until Saturday.

Not this weekend (doing a houseboat on Bull Shoals) but will be there next weekend for DOG Days.

Everyone have fun and enjoy the fabulous viz they are experiencing now!

LOL - this is going to be a great trip! I had forgotten about the flat tire. I haven't seen a nail that big since then.

Yes, I was, then I had a out and back trip on Friday come up and it was going to be a long day. So, I decided to drop the idea. Looks like it should be a great day.

The Kansas gang had a GREAT time!! It was more than worth the 1015.5 miles round trip. Thanks Bob and Ken for meeting us. Next time (and there will definititely will be a next time) I am bring my drysuit. It is a great place to learn how to use it.

It was great hanging out with you all on Saturday. I wish Sunday would have turned out differently but it is what it is. Next time, we will have to travel down your way, and do it all over again.

And do it all over again sounds great. The worst part is we don't have anything remotely close to something as nice a Mermet. Terry wants to dive the next time we are over there. It was more than worth the 1015 miles we logged.
