I'm not sure if I put this in the right area but it does involve getting out and back from the wrecks. I was out on Lake Michigan this weekend and on Saturday the waves were fairly high, 4 to 5 in my opinion. I didn't get sick but some of the divers did. I was wondering if there is some preventive methods that people use to combat sea sickness, not taking drugs, like what not to eat or how much to eat on the morning of the dives. If anyone has some special things they do or take I would like to know.

For light seasickness, I've eaten ginger snaps. Otherwise, I'm on the Dram.

I know you said no drugs, but scopolamine + ginger works for me, and I'm prone to barking at sharks.

Turn the watch up to 5 and watch the thumb dance =)
I have used the watch on the boat pretty successfully for people not feeling well. It zaps you at different levels of intensity based on user selection.

I googled that "watch", an it's pretty wild.
So it really works?

I've also used those wrist bands that have a bump and puts pressure on your inner wrist. I didn't think they worked very well.

I used the patch - but anything ginger helps - gingersnaps, gingerale

Duane, you have to put the band on your head with the bump in the middle of your forehead, then snap it as hard as you can. Let me know when you're going to try it out. :D

Sorry Ken. I think you are mistaken. You have to put it over the catheter. Then start snapping it. Let me know how it works for ya. :D

Would you prefer snapshots or streaming video?

Yes, I know a few pepole that swear by it, and some that dont like the feel so they take it off and puke, I guess that feels better????
Avoid OJ, drink apple juice instead.

Most ginger ales don't have ginger in them, you have to go to the health food stores to buy some that actually has it in them.

Brett, I was using Scopace on Sat. I did not feel sick at all but just tired from waking up at 3am to meet up with you guys. John also takes Scopace with good results
